SIIG’s USB 2.0 to SATA/IDE is an excellent tool enabling you to connect a Serial ATA (SATA) or IDE/Ultra DMA hard disk drive to your notebook or desktop computer when no Serial ATA or IDE connection in available. It is designed to instantly convert SATA or IDE/Ultra DMA hard disk drives into a portable storage device through a USB port of your computer. The USB 2.0 to SATA/IDE Adapter accommodates 2.5” and 3.5” SATA or 2.5” and 3.5” IDE hard disk drives, delivers data transfer rates of up to 480Mb/s, and supports Ultra DMA 0-6 and Multi-word DMA 0-2. This USB 2.0 to SATA/IDE Adapter is compatible with most SATA and IDE hard disk drives of any brand up to 2TB capacity, and is the perfect handy gadget for use with notebook and desktop computers.

The USB 2.0 to SATA/IDE is compliant with USB specifications, revision 2.0 and 1.1, FCC & CE regulatory approved and RoHS-compliant. It is fully compatible with a wide variety of Windows operating systems and is backed by SIIG’s limited 5-year warranty.
