Overview

SIIG’s SATA II-150 PCI RAID controller card is an ideal solution for expanding your SATA storage capacity to your PCI-equipped desktop computer. It is designed to add two internal ultra high-speed SATA Generation II channels for connecting up to two additional SATA hard disk drives. The 2-channel SATA II-150 PCI RAID controller card delivers data transfer rates of up to 1.5 Gb/s, supports RAID 0 (stripe) for performance and RAID 1 (mirror) for data reliability, and SATA hard disk hot-plugging. It features two independent 256-byte FIFOs channels for host reads and writes, onboard bus master engine to relieve system processor from book keeping and to enhance system performance, and supports Native Command Queuing (NCQ) and SATA TCQ commands. It is the most cost-effective controller card to work with various brands of high-speed SATA hard disk drives with capacities larger than 137 GB.

The 2-channel SATA II-150 PCI RAID controller card is fully compliant with industry standards, including PCI Specification, Revision 2.3 and Serial ATA 1.0 Specifications. It is also FCC Class B (DoC) & CE regulatory approved and RoHS-compliant.

The SATA II-150 PCI RAID controller card comes with a spare, low-profile bracket to work with either standard height or low profile system, two Serial ATA cables, a dual-connector SATA power cable, a driver CD and a comprehensive user’s manual. It is fully compatible with a wide variety of Windows operating systems and is backed by SIIG’s limited lifetime warranty.
