Overview

SIIG’s SATA II-150 PCI controller card is an ideal solution in expanding your SATA storage capacity to your desktop computer. It is designed to add two internal SATA channels for connecting up to two additional SATA hard disk drives. The SATA II-150 PCI controller delivers data transfer rates of up to 1.5 Gb/s, breaks the 137GB barrier to support hard disk drives larger than 137GB. It features independent 256-byte FIFOs per channel for host reads and writes, Native Command Queuing (NCQ) and SATA TCQ commands, and onboard bus master engine to relieve system processor from book keeping effectively enhancing system performance. It is the most cost-effective solution to add high-speed, high capacity hard disk drives to your computer.

The SATA II-150 PCI controller’s dual-profile design with included full height and spare low profile bracket allows it to be installed in both standard height and low profile systems respectively, other accessories included in the package are a thin Serial ATA cable for better air circulation, a SATA power cable for easy hard disk drive installation, a driver CD and a comprehensive user’s manual.

The 2-channel Serial ATA PCI controller is powered by Initio chip and is fully compliant with industry standards, including PCI Specification, Revision 2.3 and Serial ATA 1.0 Specifications and complement of SATA II optional features. It is also FCC Class B (DoC) & CE regulatory approved and RoHS-compliant.

The SATA II-150 PCI is fully compatible with a wide variety of Windows operating systems and is backed by SIIG’s limited lifetime warranty.
