Overview

SIIG’s DP 8-Port 232/422/485 PCI Express Adapter Card is a high performance adapter card designed to easily add eight RS-232 serial ports with 15KVDC ESD protection to your PCIe enabled desktop computer. Its serial interface delivers data transfer rates of up to 921.6Kb/s, and features 15KVDC ESD serial interface protection for use in industrial environments. The dual-profile 8-port RS-232 PCI Express adapter card connects with VHD168 male to 8 port DB9 fan-out cable for easy connection to serial devices, and comes with a spare low profile bracket to install in either standard height or low-profile systems to offer the utmost flexibility in system chassis installation.

The DP 8-Port 232/422/485 PCI Express Adapter Card is FCC and CE approved and RoHS compliant. It is fully compatible with a wide variety of Windows operating systems and is backed by SIIG’s limited lifetime warranty.
