Overview

SIIG’s eSATA II-150 PCI controller card is an ideal solution for expanding your SATA storage capacity to your PCI-equipped desktop computer. It is designed to add two external SATA channels for connecting up to two additional SATA hard disk drives. The 2-channel eSATA II-150 PCI controller card delivers data transfer rates of up to 1.5 Gb/s, breaks the barrier to support hard disk drives larger than 137GB and is SATA hard disk hot-plugging compatible. It supports plug-n-play installation of your external SATA drives, independent 256-byte FIFOs per channel for host reads and writes, Native Command Queuing (NCQ) and SATA TCQ commands, and features onboard bus master engine to relieve system processor from book keeping and to enhance system performance. It is the most cost-effective controller card to add high-speed, high capacity external SATA hard disk drives to your computer.

The 2-channel eSATA II-150 PCI controller card is powered by Initio chips and is fully compliant with industry standards, including PCI Specification, Revision 2.3, eSATA (external SATA) connector specifications and Serial ATA 1.0 Specifications. It is also FCC Class B (DoC) & CE regulatory approved and RoHS-compliant. The eSATA II-150 PCI controller card is fully compatible with a wide variety of Windows operating systems and is backed by SIIG’s limited lifetime warranty.
