Sharing Notebook PC Cards Made Easy!
(Fremont, California; February 24, 2005) SIIG, the market leader in I/O connectivity products (including ATA Controllers, FireWire, USB, serial/parallel ports, etc.) is proud to announce two new products that allow both PC and Mac users to use notebook PC Card adapters with their desktop systems.
SIIG’s new PCI-to-PC Card Pro (SIIG part # JJ-PC1012, SRP $39.99) for the PC, and the PCI to PC Card-M (SIIG part # JJ-PC1M12-S1, SRP $59.99) for the Mac, add a single PC Card slot to desktop systems for use with various types of 16-bit PCMCIA and 32-bit CardBus PC cards, allowing users to share adapter cards between notebook computers and desktops, eliminating the need to buy separate adapters for each.
Both adapters offer the same hot insertion and removal of PC Card adapters that notebook users are familiar with, making upgrading simple and offer true Plug-n-Play installation, with no additional driver needed. SIIG’s PCI to PC Card adapters are perfect for use with wireless network cards (802.11a/b/g/pre-N), Bluetooth, USB, FireWire, and other PC card adapters.
