Description:
The main monitor is flickering / flashing and extended display is off after installing Windows 7 update.
Solution:
Microsoft update KB2670838 is causing this issue. We recommend uninstalling this update.
Un-install Update for Microsoft Windows (KB2670838) to fix this issue. Use the steps below to uninstall the update.
1. Click Start menu.
2. Click Control Panel.
3. Click System and Security.
4. Click View installed updates under Windows Update.
5. Click Update for Microsoft Windows (KB2670838)...., click Uninstall, then click Yes.
6. Click Restart Now to complete the un-installing of the Update for Microsoft Windows (KB2670838).
