My extended monitor does not have a picture.

Applies to the Following Products:

- USB 2.0 Dual Display Notebook Docking (JU-DK0012-S1)

- USB 2.0 to DVI/VGA (JU-DV0012-S2)

- USB 2.0 to DVI/VGA Pro (JU-DV0112-S1)

- USB 2.0 to  VGA (JU-000071-S1)

 

Solution:

1. Go to Display adapters in Device Manager (right click My Computer or Computer / Manage / Device Manager / Dispaly adapters) and make sure Standard VGA Graphics Adapter is not listed. If so, you must install the correct driver for your video card to install the USB adapter succesfully.

2. Make sure the adapter is not inserted during the driver installation. If so, you need to un-install the driver in Programs and Features or Add or Remove Program / Un-install or change a program in Control Panel. Look for the file named USB Display Device... or Trigger External Graphics Family..., Then re-install the driver once again after system has restarted.

3. Download the latest driver using the provided link below. Before installing the updated driver, you need to un-install the previous driver in Add or Remove Program / Uninstall or change a program in Control Panel and look for USB Display Device.....or Trigger External Grapshic Family.....You can aslo double click on setup.exe of the new driver and follow on screen instruction to uninstall the driver.

4. For Windows XP only, go to Settings tab in Display Properties (Start / Control Panel / Display / Settings), single click the number of the extended monitor, then select Extend my Windows desktop onto this monitor. Click Appy, then OK.
