Q: The Magic Switch stopped working. How do I reset / uninstall it?

This is not a pure plug and play device. When plugging the device in for the first time, somefiles are installed in both computers, which are saved in C:/users/(user name)/AppData/Roaming/MCT. It is a hidden folder/file. This MCT folder/files should be removed from both computers.

1. Before doing anything, unplug the Magic Switch from both computers, and stop the magic switch process using the Windows Task Manager.

2. Using Device Manager, check all USB drives, including all hidden devices. All hidden devices and USB related entries for Magic Switch should be removed.

3. Reboot the computer after all this is done.

4. Plug the magics witch USB in again and install the software.
