USB to Video FAQ

Applies to the Following Products:

- USB 2.0 to DVI/VGA (JU-DV0012-S2)

- USB 2.0 to VGA (JU-000071-S1)

- USB 3.0 to HDMI/DVI Multi Monitor Video Adapter (JU-H20111-S1)

- USB 3.0 to VGA Multi Monitor Video Adapter (JU-VG0211-S1)

Description: 

1) Only Mirror mode works, cannot use or set to Extended mode.

2) Every time the letter C is depress, the monitor changes display/resolution or all the active windows on my laptop pop-up.

(Want to permanently turn off the HotKeys feature for the SIIG graphics adapter driver)

3) Every time I restart the computer, I have to reset both monitor resolutions.

4) Live video will not display on the desk top. Cursor jumps and is hard to control on the screen.

5) The extended desktop is extremely washed out.

6) When the computer goes to sleep, the USB to VGA don't turn back on.

7) Product worked but failed to remember application location on 2-monitor extended configuration.

8) Running into a slow moving mouse on the window.

9) The magnetic credit card reader is slow to read the credit card and sometimes just shows colon or semicolon or random characters.

10) After installing the driver I get the blue screen of death (BSOD) when Windows boots-up or at random times.

Solution: 

You may have an older driver installed.  Please go to SIIG website for an update the driver for your product.  Before installing the new driver, do not forget to remove older driver first.
